We have been living in Veloce for more than a year now and just got our lease renewed. This is an amazing place right at the heart of Downtown Redmond...the bus stop is right across the apartment and everything you need is nearby. We received amazing service from Veloce maintenance team - just a shout out for \Essey\, service manager and \Milton\, a great human being who ensured that everything we need in the house is fixed. We know that we are not staying in a 7 star hotel and at times in those hotels also things take time to get fixed, so I think “patience” is important to allow time for maintenance team to fix the problem. More than anything else, we really liked the politeness and humbleness with which maintenance team deal with their guests / customers. Our leasing consultant \Thomas\ is just awesome and a solid professional. Good job Veloce and Equity Residential. We are proud of you!

Good service by Thomas, a highly professional leasing consultant. He helped us to move in the apartment and provided fair details about the apartment. We have been living here peacefully for close to a year. This is a great apartment to live in. Well managed and organized! Usually, a maintenance problem is resolved with in 2 to 3 days which is pretty good as you know there will never be a trouble in day to day services.

I've lived here for a little while and overall it's been okay. I'm writing this to mention some of the things you won't be able to tell by just visiting the community. On the positive, while the building isn't the newest, it is built to high standards, so sound insulation and thermal insulation are very good. I also had no plumbing or electrical issues. The maintenance team is another plus. Calls are always addressed quickly and with a smile. However, there are several important things to watch out for. First, apartments facing the sun (inc. West) will get overheated during the summer. There are days in July/August when my inside temperature rises above 85 degrees (!) by 8pm, even with the blinds/curtains closed the whole day. Setting up a mobile A/C unit is difficult because there are no vents and the windows are far too tall for most extendable kits. Second, receiving packages is very inconvenient. All shipments for hundreds of units end up in a small mail room with no proper sorting. Finding an Amazon package will usually take you 5-10 minutes of sifting through dozens of other people's packages. It is incredibly inefficient and occasionally I've had items reported as delivered but missing altogether. Another niggling issue are the elevators, which require plenty of patience both inside and out, so make sure you are fine with it. Lastly, public areas like staircases and said elevators are very seldom cleaned or vacuum (I am referring to old-style cleaning - not sanitizing). Also, it took half a year into the pandemic to install hand sanitizer dispensers (a good move), but many of these have been out of gel for weeks. Keep these pros and cons in mind when you consider this place versus the dozen or so nearby apartment communities.
