It is often a challenge to find a business that is responsive, transparent and professional. Happily, I met that challenge and found RB Appliance Service in Rehoboth Beach DE. The knob on our dryer that enables the type of drying to be performed had stopped working. I emailed Rick from RB Appliance Service on a Tuesday evening and he replied quickly. Fortunately for me, Rick had an opening on Wednesday morning and I was able to make an appointment for that time slot. During the process of replacing the knob, Rick noticed that the start knob did not work, as well. He asked me if I wanted that replaced. I asked Rick for a guesstimate for the cost of service and parts before I made the appointment. Even though the total cost of the visit was more than initially expected due to the additional replacement of the start knob, I felt that the total cost was fair and competitive. This was a positive experience in that our problem was easily solved by a very qualified, nice and personable individual. I definitely will call RB Appliance Service when I need such a service again.

We recently purchased a second home in Ocean view, DE and had a dishwasher that just won't drain for us. After placing many service calls, we finally were able to schedule an appointment with Rick. He arrived promptly, diagnosed the issue within minutes and had the dishwasher running in no time at all. He stayed to ensure the dishwasher cycled through and no other issues popped up. It has worked flawlessly since his service call and he will absolutely be our go-to appliance repairman going forward. He was so helpful and friendly, couldn't recommend him more. Rick worked with my crazy work schedule and still came out before anyone else said the could. He arrived in time, was very friendly. He explained to me what he was checking for and doing. Found the issue with the dryer in no time. He had the parts on his truck and had everything working in no time. Very thorough, even checked the dryer vent outside to make sure it wasn't blocked. My clothes dryer recently started making “chirping” sounds during use. After reading the many positive reviews for RB Appliance Repair, I contacted them via email. Rick, the owner, contacted me shortly thereafter. He suspected a certain problem and offered a reasonable appointment date and window of time which I accepted. Rick did not disappoint. He was on time, assessed and confirmed the problem (which was consistent with his original suspicion) and repaired it right away (had the part on his truck). He is knowledgeable, personable and charges are reasonable. I would not hesitate recommending RB Appliance Repair and will definitely use him in the future. Thank you Rick!
