First time at this market today - I was pleasantly surprised and will definitely be returning for local produce. It's a nice sized market - good selection of local produce, meats, baked items, pasta, and more goodies. Social distancing is being practiced as best as possible, but it's a little congested between vendors. The number of people within the market is being monitored/managed, so there may be a short wait depending on what time you go. There's a small boardwalk nearby, with local shops along a small pond - would be a good place to sit with a morning coffee. Parking was a little funky as most of the spots are for residents only, but we found something after a few minutes. I do recommend and will be returning myself :)

I love coming here! They always have a great variety of produce, both fruits and veggies, meat, seafood, breads, cheese, desserts, jams, mushrooms, flowers, etc. All the vendors are local to Virginia, Maryland, DC, WV, PA area, so the food is really fresh and it is a great way to support local business. They have some prepared food, but this is more of a functional farmer's market where you would go to get groceries rather than just eat for entertainment. The vendors take both cash and credit, but it's probably a good idea to take cash just in case. They are still open during COVID. They've made adjustments for social distancing. If you have any concerns you can review them on their website. If you feel comfortable venturing out, it is a fabulous place to support local business, especially at a time when lots of businesses are struggling.

this market has done a particularly good job of being safe during the pandemic. there can be long lines at time to enter, but that is because they want to ensure there is sufficient space between shoppers. i only wish we had a couple more vendors present; perhaps they can be brought back!
