I happened to place simple, pre-order call to Impact Battery and spoke to Darren, the owner. Believe it or not, he spent a very long time on the call to walk me through the process of potentially reviving my current "dead"/"defective" batteries (purchased elsewhere); he could have spent much less time to easily steer me towards making several potentially unnecessary battery purchases, which is what I had intended to do initially. Darren was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and thorough, and very much into what he does and the "science" of the industry. Just as importantly, he was generous with his time, patient, and kind. All CEOs should model his behavior. Thank you, Darren and Impact Battery! You now have a loyal and repeat future customer.

They sell old batteries. Decided to try them out for the first time and bought a powersport battery. Received it and it was from 8 months ago with a surface charge. Great stuff.
Dishonest Seller. Another example of bait and switch. 2 days after I purchased the Braille B2618 battery from their website. I got an email from them and stated that it was in back order. I am frustrated, because my husband really needs it asap for his race car.A representative recommended to use a similar battery (see email below). She had no idea what she was talking about. The cold cranking of the recommended battery is much lower, that why it was so cheap. When you go to their web site, the Braille B2618 is still showing available. They will keep on doing this bait and switch, unit one buyer not sure about what he is looking for.
NOT GOOD they don't stand behind their products . I purchased a moto batt for my 2013 FXDF 4 months later dead they sent me another moto batt that one lasted 7 months. The moto batt 2.5 year warranty is not honered now they want more money for prorate . Impact battery won't get another penny from me. Bogus warranty customer service nonexistent don't waste your money/ time Darren the owner does not understand customer service just there to make a dollar forget about the customer. This is the response I received from owner Darren after my second battery in less than 11 months. Quote: Now you really have me confused. To use your logic any battery you place in your bike will very possibly leave you stranded. No one can control the unknown. How and why have you made the assumption and giant leap that this outcome is a fault of Impact Battery? Are you trying to say all Impact Battery products are faulty and our products are unfit to sell? He said it not me UNFIT TO SELL . The fact is I paid full price for a inferior battery and impact battery will keep my money leave me with two dead battery's and continue to sell inferior products to the AMERiCAN PUBLIC and profit . Then when the battery fails owner Darren will belittle you in an e-mail and act like he doesn't understand why the customer is not happy with his or her 4 5 or 6 Month old failed battery. if you would like to purchase a battery every 11 months then by all means use impact battery I myself would like a battery to last at least two years Good luck if you choose to throw your money away with impact battery . We the American people can help each other by sharing information and stopping this sort of customer service practice that is not helpful to us as a consumer. do your research. Rob H. San Diego Ca
