I was sad to hear you are closing in august. I have been a devoted customer for all of my prescriptions/personal needs since you were originally Eckard (upstate ny now in sc). I found out when I rec'd a call from someone in Illinios calling on belalf of walgreens. She said all of my prescriptions will automatically transfer over to the walgreens on jeffries... NO THANK YOU!!! Walgreens employees are rude and act as if you being there is an inconvenience! I will have my scripts sent over to CVS as they were always my backup. My entire family will miss Rite Aid's employees for their friendliness and always made us feel like we were family. Anytime I pulled up.. there was always a smile and they took the time to always get to know their customers.

I am in SC for the week and needed to have a prescription filled. I went to the CVS closest to me and they refused to fill it because it is a controlled substance and told me I needed to get it filled in Georgia since the doctor who wrote the prescription was in Georgia. I have a kidney stone and if you as unfortunate me, you have my sympathy! I googled looking for the nearest pharmacy in Georgia from here. The nearest one was 2 hours away. I called the pharmacy in Walterboro, SC and spoke with Ellie. Can you say helpful, kind , professional and polite. Ellie listened to me and told me she would be happy to fill it for me but she would need to speak to my doctor and have the actual prescription in hand before she called. My kind brother-in-law went to Walterboro for me and got the prescription for me. If I couldn't get the prescription filled nearby, my only option was to cut my vacation short and drive 4 hours to home to Georgia and have it filled. Ellie saved me from all of that! And I so appreciate that you listened to me and helped me, Ellie! You are the BEST! And deserve a pay raise!!! Thank you so very much!
