BUYER BEWARE you pay them a 250.00 non refundable application fee then after you pay them this money that is on refundable\ they tell you that you will need to spend every waking hour dedicated to studying and will have absolutely 0 time for anything else. But they tell you this after you give them your money. They make you sign a contract that benefits their own interest and the customer has no rights what so ever. They give you a time frame to go online to complete some tests and if your internet is down or an act of God makes it so you cannot do the tests they don't give you a chance to take them another day. They are a very uncompromising company. You would be better off just taking a normal college course that gives you the time you need to really learn without having to cram.

West Coast EMT is the best! I'm glad that I chose to go to school here. It was hard but worthwhile. Our Saturday class is very fortunate to have Ms. Samantha Tonetti as our instructor. Not only that she taught us well by the book, but also from her hands-on true to life experiences that she shared. The best instructor ever! ... Live for other, so others may live.
Well this is my 2nd time taking this course, the first time i was very unfocused and overconfident. This second time around felt different not only having seen the material once. My instructor Sam who not only tried her hardest to translate the material but explained each facet of the course even though for her it was Ad nauseam. I could not have asked for more from Sam. Sarah, Ernie, and Nick were the best skills instructors tirelessly explaining skills and coaching us students as if it was their neck on the line if we do not only pass but excel. If you want to put in the studying, reading, and listening to lecture come to WCEMT they’ll have you ready.
Customer service is extremely rude, they say to teach you how to help people but they are definitely not helping you. Especially with payment plans. At the end I decided to choose another school which was cheaper with faster courses.
I took the full time initial EMT class. Despite the class being partially online due to COVID, I felt that instruction received was awesome and I feel very prepared and inspired going into my future career. Shaun and Toby were great instructors and were always there to clarify and expand on information that I found difficult. Going into the NREMT I feel confident and very prepared.
