This is a great place to go for knee care. Only issue is the long hold time while trying to setup an appointment. I just hung up because i was on hold for 13 minutes. I fell down a mountain and going to get an appointment somewhere else. I need to be seen. Anna has reached out to make things right. I understand Covid and bring personnel low in an office. All I asked is a better communication. Thank you Anna for getting me an appointment.

Getting referred to Dr. Burney was life changing. I finally had a Doctor who listened to me, who worked with me to come up with a plan to help alleviate my knee pain. I tried the injections, I lost weight I was doing everything to avoid a knee replacement. September 2020 we decided to move forward and I had my total knee replacement. Dr. Burney and his team was with me all the way. The team approach to your care makes the journey more personalized. I cannot tell you how many times I was on the phone with Maria the surgery coordinator who made sure my questions where answered. I liked how they scheduled me to meet with who would be my physical therapist before my procedure to get a familiar with my walker and to meet her. I appreciate the organization, the friendly service at every level. I can see the measures they have taken to ensure your health and safety. Your care does not stop at 5 PM if there is a urgent matter they have an on call Doctor who will return your call in a reasonable amount of time. I cannot thank Dr. Burney and his team (staff) enough for everything . I would encourage anyone that is looking for an Orthopedic Specialist ....look no more!!

I do not recommend Dr Patel. He put my child in a cast for 2 months although there was no fracture. Rude and snoty. And overcharged for the cast and billed it to my insurance as a surgery. I always pay upfront, and was told by the staff his cast would only be 50, but they billed it for 184. The billing office is totally clueless, they couldn't find record of my payments, and suddenly the answer was \we underestimated the charges that's why you owe more\. Somehow there was also a negative balance (that they owed me) from 2 years ago that I was also never informed about. F this place.

It pains me to write this review because I have been a patient there for several years. I first had a hip replacement and I have to say it went very well. I also had ongoing treatment for my knee (injections) which were well done and worked until my knee eventually deteriorated. Then I went for knee replacement and that was a disaster!! I didn’t get physical therapy for the first two weeks because their therapists didn’t have openings (why do surgery if you can’t support it?); I got ripped off by Baylor because it was treated as an outpatient 23 hr observation— I was told it was covered but then got a surprise bill for almost 4,000!! Worst of all the artificial knee was put in CROOKED! I was told by the doctor to just keep walking on it for 6 more months to see if it would straighten out. When I went for a second opinion, they showed xrays with the crooked joint and pointed out that the joint also had play in it. They said walking on it would only make it worse. The only way to fix it was to redo the surgery. When I asked Orthopedic Specialists if they could help out with the bills for the bad surgery I got the runaround. Happy to say the new doctor did a great job and I got good physical therapy. Over a year later after lots of pain and expense, and I am finally getting better, thanks to a different doctor.

I have been utilizing the Physical Therapy group and have been completely satisfied by the level of service given by Lauren Podina and the rest of the staff. They are focused on my specific treatment needs and continually request feedback as to the results I am getting. I would highly recommend this group of friendly and professional physical therapists!
