Kitty Hawk Kites was awesome! I originally signed up for the 4 day program to learn kite boarding but ended up cancelling for the last 2 days to spend more time with the family I was visiting. They were super friendly and refunded more than what I cancelled was worth. The instructor I had, Sean, was super friendly and very informative. He was also very encouraging and after my last session on the second day made me feel confident enough to be ready to go out and do it in my own.

The kiteboarding team here is awesome. Great selection of gear from top brands and friendly, and helpful crew of good people. I have purchases a bunch of things here over the years, and always had a good experience. It's pretty rad that you can kite from the yard here, and there is usually a helping hand to launch and land and give advice on conditions, gear selection, etc.. Not the case at other kite places in the area in our experiences. My lady friend is planning a lesson here based on the positive attitudes and genuine crew working the kite department. Super stoked. Thanks guys. Highly recommended. See you on the water soon.
