The minute I walked into the Loyola Cancer center the women who took my temperature was so friendly and calmed me down. I was sent to clinic A to register and she was great. Then the nurse called me and me and my sister went to the room. The nurse and the first doctor came in and took all my info..they were both very professional and very nice. Dr. Potkul was very reassuring and after his examination he explained everything to me and made sure I understood. He was very professional and he also calmed me. I would recommend him to all I know.great place, great people and great doctors.

Dr Potkul will answer any question you have and gave me hope when I thought I would not beat this. I am still here today thanks to him and explaining everything so I understand what is going on. Even before surgery I mentioned my diaphragm area fluttering, he said he paid extra attention to that area during surgery to see if anything was going on. I was comforted with his attentiveness.
I told my gynecologist that I wanted the best when my precancerous condition indicated that I should have a hysterectomy. She referred Dr. Potkul and told me he was the best. The whole procedure from the before the operation visit to the post operation follow up were great. Dr. Potkul has a good manner and put me at ease from start to finish. I never worried about a thing. He IS the best!
Dr. Potkul is a top-notch physician. His examination was thorough, he took time to answer questions, provided reassurance and support, as he knew I was anxious and uncertain. He gave me the support I needed to get through a very frightening experience. He knew the exact words I needed to hear. I trusted him and everything he explained along the way proved to be exactly as he predicted. I wish everyone could have the support of a caring professional like Dr. Potkul when going though uncertain and very scary medical situations. He is a blessing to his patients.
