My husband and I stayed here in August of 2019. We had just recently bought a dirt bike and an ATV and wanted a fun place to camp and ride. There are plenty of trails, a motocross course, and state trails near by. The owners were friendly and polite and you can tell they have a passion for the business they run. However, I would have to warn newcomers that the rules of the place are not well explained or enforced. At the front office, we saw a sign stating that quiet hours were around 10 or 11pm. At around 1am, a bunch of individuals that appeared to be drunk began revving their bikes and road them around the campground. I understand it's the nature of the place, but it seemed questionable and possibly unsafe. The outhouses are cleaner and better stocked than their bath houses. Lastly, when out on the trails and courses you will find unsupervised children under the age of 10. I know it's a place where people feel comfortable and want their kids to have fun, but they often do not follow at a safe distance. I was on a dirt bike and my tire slipped in the sand going around a corner. I didn't even have time to hit the ground before a young child rammed into my knee with his ATV. The child then road off without offering to get help and I never saw him again or figured out who his parents were. Another teenager found help and, as stated before, the owners were very kind and offered to call an ambulance. I declined, as I was uncertain about the extent of my injury. Turns out I ended up with a Tibial Plateau Fracture and required surgery. I couldn't walk for 2 months and had to relearn to walk over the last month or two. I am still recovering. I understand there are inherent risks while doing sports like this, but the lack of accountability was disappointing. At the end of the day, it's a fun place to go and full of friendly people but I won't be going back.

This place is awesome, the owner Dino is super Kool, the on grounds track and trails are so fun, the grooming of the tracks is perfect. There are not to many places like this. I love that they have a quiet family side for camping as well as a not so quiet side for camping. Right out the driveway is access to the Michigan trail system proper. Best of both worlds. I absolutely love this place and how the owner Dino runs it and treats his clients.
