Update Jan 7, 2021 Please note that both of their streaming content and E Reader applications have poor reviews and that the most recent software update for the E Edition app is over two years ago! Having done some programming of my own, I can say that it is ridiculous to release an app and not provide debugging or upgrades for two years! I am AGAIN experiencing problems with the E Edition app. When I go into the browse mode on my iPad and zoom to make the text easier to read, the app simply shuts down. I then have to sign back on and try again. This happens multiple times per day. Accordingly, I have changed my rating to reflect these unaddressed issues. I finally got access to their eEdition after an hour or more with their IT department. Revised my rating accordingly. Situation detailed below was not my only experience with Rosebud Media's stone age subscription process. I attempted to help my in-laws reset their password. Finally gave up on that after multiple attempts. -------- I recently attempted to subscribe online to Rosebud Media's digital subscription of the Mail Tribune. After multiple attempts, I contacted their circulation department only to be told that I would have to submit a payment via telephone before I would have access "in about 24 hours"! This is when the real fun began, I now have well over a dozen emails from their circulation department attempting to provide access, including a series of five emails that were identical and contained links that were supposedly going to fix the problem. They provided multiple "temporary passwords" that also failed to provide access. I have been using online media for many years. This experience was the worst I've ever had. I STILL do not have access after hours of responding to their email "fixes". Bottom line here . . . save yourself a headache and stay clear of Rosebud Media's sad attempts at providing online content.

We’ve been subscribing to the Mail Tribune for almost 12 years now...it’s not great but we’re used to it. Sometimes there’s so little content in it that you can hold it up to the light and see right through it. But, it’s a newspaper and it’s all there is and we want to support it....12 years is sort of a commitment, Wouldn’t you say? But in the last few weeks it’s been difficult because the paper & the paperboy disappeared. We’ve tried everything we can to find him. We’ve been calling the Rosebud newspaper distribution office several times a day to locate our paperboy but for some reason the manager of the service, a guy named Chris must be out looking for him because he has been too busy to return our phone calls. So Rosebud.... where is our paperboy....& our paper? Best Sam

I have had the paper delivered to my home for the past five years. I have repeatedly had problems with there delivery. I recently received notice that my rate is increasing and at the same time I haven't had my paper delivered for the past two days. I called there office and was told they won't deliver the papers today with no explanation, and that the manager will call me. The representative didnt seem to care when I cancelled my subscription.
