CapitalCity solar SunPower has been a great company to work with to date. All pre inspections and paperwork have gone smoothly. The installation crew arrived yesterday right on time. No messin’ around, they got straight to work. Installed 12 panels in a little over 7 hours. ( plus critter guards) and Cleaned up nicely.... you wouldn’t have known they had been there, except for the shiny new SunPower solar panels on our roof. Downloading the WiFi monitoring system was simple. Inspection will be tomorrow and we will be good to go. We highly recommend this company to any future residential solar energy users.

The crew of two not only cleaned our panels, but also let us know of broken tiles on our roof. Caesar took pictures of the damaged tiles and replaced the worse ones with the three tiles I had in my garage. I cannot say enough good things about these two young men. Perhaps a raise or promotion? I reached out yesterday as the owner of Solar Roof Jack to ask if Capital City Solar could assist in spreading the word about our company. We were hurting and trying to keep our people going during this very hard time. Erika was so helpful completely gracious and understanding I had nothing to offer and was a stranger to them, regardless she stepped up instantly connected me with others in the company and really helped pass my message. Sometimes it's not about the transaction it is about the people behind it. I think if they were willing to step out without hesitation, that would be a great company and team to consider and trust when doing your solar job. Very bad experience. It took them a month from install until they had my system turned on, one excuse and document problem after another. During that month, I was on the phone constantly, with a bunch of different people - all trained in calming and assuring angry customers, but not in helping or offering any concessions. I finally have my system turned on after a month, and a day before my first payment is due - meaning that in the first month of summer, I will have paid for electricity twice. I troubleshot with at least four people, none of whom seemed to know the situation. Both for approval and actually getting the system turned on, it came down to the gun and I had to give an ultimatum that they would need to pay me for payments if it wasn't fixed that day; then, they magically were able to fix it in an hour. When all was worked out, I told them how unhappy I was, and they said \it wasn't us it was Sunpower\ - but I started my relationship with them by having their salesman spend half his time during his sales pitch saying how proud they were to partner with a wonderful company like Sunpower, and yet when I had problems they distanced themselves as much as they could. I will not be going back. This would have been a one star review, but they had a very courteous and professional installation team that did quite well at taking precautions during their install during the Covid crisis.
Excellent company to deal with, start to finish they are the best. Work crew was friendly, thorough, and cleaned up everything when finished. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.
