Accidentally voted early today. I was just stopping by to pickup a couple of request for mail in ballots. Suzanne went in and while I waited in the driveway. Next thing I know two very pleasant people walked up and said your wife inside voting and if you’d like you can vote right here. I said okay they rolled out a portable voting machine up to my driver’s side window and it was done. Williamson County Tax Office- Round Rock The most pleasant voting experience of my Texas life and I’m a NATIVE TEXAN.

Eleven stations at this location and at 1130am ( lunch time) only station 5 and 7 are open and available to assist. Unsatisfactory for the amount of taxes we pay. In addition, the online appointment services at this location say currently unavailable.

I went to the office today to change a vehicle title. I waited about 5-10 minutes to see someone. I didn’t have the paperwork filled out so the first woman who helped me gave it to me to complete and told me to tell her when I was done. It took like 2 minutes so idk why she couldn’t have waited but I’m glad she did because Trish ended up helping me finish the transfer and she was so nice and helpful. I want to say thank you to her. She doesn’t know this but I had just found out my grandmother was put on a ventilator and I was just not mentally present. The first woman made me feel like I was a massive inconvenience while Trish made me feel welcome and like she wanted to help me. She was a welcome light in a bit of momentary darkness. I know going to the tax office isn’t this serious but I had literally just got the news on my way there and I took the day off work to do this task. Anyway, I was in and out in about 20 minutes. & side note: make sure you get in the correct drive thru like because those women at the drive thru line are NOT messing around.

A friendly set of people but wish they were equally efficient in getting work done. I saw some one ask for more details. I went 2 months ago in person with all documentation for name change and home stead application. They took all the documents and said it would be done but now when I called them, the name change department did not do it and the home stead department rejected the change because the name change is not done. I do not know what to do now.

Not too busy, with enough tellers to keep the line moving. Plan to spend about 15-20 minutes here.
