My wife and I used Kim last week while on vacation, needless to say we found our forever dog sitter. Not only a sitter but our dogs home away from home, even after only 1 visit. We did a meet and greet about a month and a half ago to see how our 2 dogs would adapt to a new environment. Side note, they are both shelter dogs and VERY skittish of new environments. Molli, one of our girls was abused as a puppy and not welcoming of strangers; she was the one we were most worried about. Molli gave one timid growl towards Kim at our meet and greet; after Molli gave a few sniffs and let her guard down towards Kim, we knew it was meant to be. Kim takes pride in her business; her and her husband have their home set up for dog boarding, the main areas of the house are sectioned off with large gates you can’t see through in case there are dogs that don’t get along and to give the dogs/family some privacy. On top of that, the dogs get their own little suite to sleep in/ relax while other dogs get the roam of the other areas of the house or yard so the dogs get a different environment throughout the day and not cooped up in a cage like the traditional boarder. When we dropped our girls off for vacation, they remembered Kim’s home environment and they didn’t even bat an eye when we left. Kim provided daily pictures and updates every day around lunch time; how our girls did, how they ate, what they did most of the day and even our girls mood. We chose Nitro after my wife did extensive research on dog kennel boarding, house boarding etc. We just had a gut feeling about Nitro after looking at their social media pages, reviews and pictures. I would recommend Kim and her business to ANY dog owner; no matter the dogs demeanor, size or breed (obviously it’s up to Nitro to decide on size/weight limit). Thank you Kim for providing our girls with a home environment and having such a wonderful business.

We moved to Texas in late spring of this year and took our first trip to where we had to board our babies for a long weekend. We don’t take that lightly. Our fur babies are very much part of our life and family so it’s important to us finding the right person and place to take care of them when we can’t. We did extensive research because we didn’t know the area very well as well as phone interviews to see if it would be a great match for us and our babies. We came across Nitro Petcare and this place didn’t disappoint! We were beyond happy, pleased and excited for Kim to take care of our fur baby family. She is awesome and I wouldn’t recommend anyone else. Her home is business appropriate for a doggie hotel. Each room is so charming, private and cute for any dog to enjoy. Oh! Did I mention her rooms has TVs for them as well. The place is very neat, clean, pet safe and friendly! Kim kept in touch with us all weekend with their behaviors, eating routines and pictures of them daily. If you are looking for that place for your pet family to feel safe, relaxed, happy, comfortable and well taken care of without any worries, look no further! There is absolutely no one else i trust to care for my dog while I’m traveling. Kim is responsive, professional and goes above and beyond to make sure he is comfortable, safe and thoroughly enjoys himself while he’s in her care. Before finding Nitro, i used a couple of overnight boarding facilities and never felt comfortable leaving my dog overnight knowing no one is on staff for at least 12 straight hours. Once my pup realizes where we are he gets incredibly excited and cannot wait to get inside! She also sends pics throughout the day and messages in regards to feeding and overall daily activities. I cannot recommend Nitro enough. ️ ️️️️️️️
We used Nitro Dog Boarding and I will never go to anyone else after our experience leaving our baby in their care. It was so reassuring that our buddy was still getting love and attention while we had to be away. The updates and pictures of him playing were so wonderful to receive!
Kimiko & Nitro Dog Boarding have been such a blessing for our family. I have 3 pugs that I board overnight when we go out of town. It is very affordable & I know my pugs get a lot of love and attention when they are there. Kimiko is great about texting updates & sending pictures throughout the day. I HIGHLY recommend boarding your dogs with Nitro Dog Boarding and Pet Care.
