We teach Tiger Ha Goyu Ryu, a mix of martial arts created by 7th Degree Black belt Master Carlos Ruiz. It emphasizes self-defense via kicks, punches, grappling, and pressure points. As you progress through your ranks you will also be able to learn martial arts weapons including the bo staff, sais, nunchakus, and the katana. We are a life skills school.

My son has been attending this school for several years now and Sensei Ruiz and staff are very respectful and passionate about their work. Your child will build self esteem, confidence and skills needed to defend themselves in today’s society. Kids are rewarded based off attendance and progress and afforded the opportunity for one on one guidance by others who have traveled the path they’re on, so it’s not just one teacher, it’s several passionate individuals there to guide and mold your children into learning confidence, respect and discipline.

RTK is a great experience for kids to learn respect , strength , and discipline and for adults to gain power and self defense. Every one is very respectful. If you ever feel as if you need to learn how to defend yourself God forbid a crisis rises you can come to rtk and walk out feeling like a true martial arts black belt ! Ruiz's tiger karate center is a welcoming, friendly and also a safe environment .

Do not take your child here!!!! The classes are not horrible. They are not personalized and geared towards self improvement. The instructor is only concerned about money. My son stop going and no one called to see if was even alive. I decided to call them and give them a piece of my mind. He only have 5 students and acted like he didn't know who my son was. Then called me back in 5 seconds after looking through a file to say how is your son. These people are a joke

RTK is the honest place to be for your kids , teens and adults the program provides a environment where you can learn and understand how to defend yourself. Fitness is also provided here in the program . Want to have that Winner feeling and have fun come to RTK you won't regret it !!!!

Excellent, school and Staff. I give them 10 stars. Sensei Ruiz is VERY in touch with All of his students. His Staff sensei Winnie love her,and Ms D excellent. All black belts ,RESPECT to them very good with kids they love them as well and Sensei Javon. My son has been there for 6 years, now hes a Black belt. Best choice i made to take him here. Sensei is like a FATHER to All is students,God Bless him.

i give RTK a 5 stars because i've been attending this dojo for over 2 years and i've had the greates experiences there are great. to start off the owner (master ruiz) is a person who is dedicated to his students and some one who really wants the best for ALL of his students he is patient and a good person over all he's one he's a person to look up to. RTK offers the best service quality and the kindest most respectful instructors it's deffinetly a place where my kids enjoy every day!.
