Miss Tatiana is the best and most dedicated teacher in any subject I have ever had period and certainly the best ballet teacher one could ever dream of. From adults with no experience (as was I several years ago when I had the good fortune to find her near my place of residence) to the littlest of children, she demonstrates the utmost skill and patience as a teacher and coach. As the other reviewers have elaborated, her training is technical and based on precise pedagogical training and knowledge. She is always bringing something new to class to tweak a little if she sees one of us struggling with a flexibility issue, or what have you. Her classes have changed my body and my life and she is an inspiring human being in general. Couldn’t recommend enough.

I have studied in New York, Chicago and Los Angelos. Moving back to Michigan I never thought I would find the caliber of training I did in the major art cities of our country. I’m happily shocked to find my best training here. Thirty minutes from where I grew up! It’s real ballet. Beautiful. Pure and precise. Tatiana has a passion for sharing her God given talent that she developed from years of training.

I started in adult ballet classes several years ago. Now I am in classes with all ages, in classes appropriate to my skill level. As we concentrate on our posture, positions, and combinations of movements, we focus on our presence in class, and forget about the outside world. We have a work out but also a welcome redirection of the mind. Our teacher is our admired trainer. She is organized and committed to teaching precise technique. She gives us personal feedback to help us improve our skills. I leave class with ideas of movements that need practice. In every class, I learn something. In addition, our posture, strength, and flexibility improve. We certainly learn professional level technique in dance which we appreciate. Each class is also an experience on its own directed by our dedicated teacher and mentor. No matter how tired I am sometimes when I come to class, I almost always leave with renewed energy and look forward to the next class. I recommend trying the classes. This school of ballet is awesome! The teacher is highly professional and tallanted. Classes are very well organized so kids develope their skills not only in ballet but also in concentration and hard work. The studio is spacious! It is really made with love for student, so they can immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the beauty of a real ballet.

As a beginning adult student with no previous ballet experience, taking classes with Tatiana has given me a new love and appreciation for classical ballet. She pays attention to each student and will never hesitate to correct you if needed, which is vital in properly learning the technique. Tatiana is a wonderful teacher and creates an joyful learning experience. Highly recommended!
