After a long work week, I was looking to surprise my coworkers with a sweet treat on Friday. And what better way to do that than by treating them to cupcakes? These cupcakes were absolutely delicious! They have such a great array of flavors, even accounting for dietary restrictions with vegan and gluten-free options. My personal favorite is their tried and true red velvet; however, I must admit that I have many more flavors to sample before a true winner comes out on top. Needless to say, I will definitely be going back to Icing on the Cupcake for my future cupcake needs! A little bit about the ordering process. There is the option to place an online order in advance; however, the pick-up date has to be at least 2 days later. If you need a same-day pick-up then you can call the business and place your order, designating your pick up time. I chose to do the later option since I wanted to pick-up on a Thursday so I could get the cupcakes to my coworkers bright and early on Friday morning (who says you can't have cupcakes for breakfast?). Overall the process was very smooth and all the staff members are super helpful!

Coming from the bay, my favorite cupcake place was sprinkles. Unfortunately, they don’t have a store here in Sacramento. However, if you close your eyes and have an Icings cupcake it will taste just like a sprinkle . It looks different, but it’s really delicious. I’ll definitely be back for more chocolate chocolates.
My wife and I came in for the first time and the two ladies were very professional and greeted us with a smile. We bought two vanilla and a mini lemon cupcakes. It was delicious, moist and not super sweet which I can appreciate. Just sweet enough. Our son enjoyed his as well. We will be back
It tasted delicious! The staff was friendly and helpful as well. It’s pricey but it’s worth.
I had one of their vegan cupcakes and it was fantastic! Very moist and the frosting wasn't too sweet. Icing on the Cupcake is definitely worth the visit!
