A unique experience for Grand Lake with beautiful views from above of Shangri-La (especially the golf course), Governors Island to HoneyCreek to Sailboat Bridge. The boat stays close to Shangri-La’s marina entrance, which is nice for duration, but you get 360 views in the air. They put us with 3 other couples on a boat, and everyone received 10 minutes in the air. It was about 1.5 hours from boat slip take off to return. Once you check-in, you watch a 2 minute video then hop on the boat. You must be barefoot on the boat, and there is minimal storage so only take the bare minimum. Everyone left their shoes, hats, towels, etc. on the boat dock. Take your phone on the boat and ask someone to take photos (maybe a take off/landing video for you - our group was super nice about it). Also, take tip money for the captain! I’m terribly afraid of heights, but this experience felt so relaxing. I spent so much time stressing beforehand, and it all went away when we took off. Felt serene! We also went on a windy day, and it was still fun. Their wind cut off is 15mph, and we were at 15-16mph. Highly recommend!!

We rented a Pantaloon for 4 hours and the whole experience was really amazing. The staff was really good and patiently explained everything. The Pantaloon was in good condition and we had a lot of fun riding it . We will be back and next time its going to be a jet boat.
Rented a pontoon boat and tube for a half day. The whole family had a blast on the lake. The boat was nice and very clean. The people that works there are nice and helpful. Will be going back again.
This was our first jet ski riding experience and we had a blast! We signed up last minute online and glad we did! The people there were amazing and friendly. They went through some paperwork and a video of what to do and not to do. We did 2 hours which was plenty with kids. Rather only thing I regret is not being prepared ourselves with proper cloths and sun glasses. Over all nightly recommended. If we’re in the area, we are going to come back!
I rented a jet boat and paid full price even though the vessel was CLEARLY not functioning properly. The boat had a speedometer that was constantly bouncing from zero to full speed and back without ever actually depicting the actual speed. The acceleration was extremely slow, the engine sounded like it was about to explode and we were getting passed by pontoon boats left and right. The steering was completely uncontrollable and non responsive half the time. The boat was visually nice and in good condition but it was abundantly clear the function of the boat was not 100%. I have over a decade of boating experience and have never operated a boat with this many mechanical issues. I even called the front desk moments after we left the dock and they said this was ormal\ and \it should kick off once it is in gear\. This was not the case. the boat was not fully functional and they rented it out anyway. Very disappointing and would drive across the lake to rent before I rent from Sail Grand again. I did not feel like the owner/manager was very professional. I understand this is a family run business but I was not super impressed by the customer service of the older blonde woman whom seemed to be the manager. I would recommend renting from Duck Creek if you're in the area. Much friendlier staff.
