I will never ever go to this ER again! The nurse practitioner almost killed me with a medication I was allergic to. She didn’t listen to me and kept berating me about not calling her a doctor. She wasn’t an actual doctor, and she thought my symptoms weren’t serious. I’m going to sue her and this place. They shouldn’t hire nurse practitioners at this place. People, make sure your doctor is a real doctor on their white coat, and not some NP who took a few internet courses. Nurse practitioners will kill people!!!

Excellent care for my 88 year old mom. Long wait time to get into a room in main ER area, but that's to be expected. All staff were great and showed us that they truly cared. Valet parking is free and so convenient. Loved it!

I cant believe the poor reviews of this emergency room. I was there Christmas eve because I fractured my leg/ankle. I was treated so kindly be EVERY person I came in contact with. From the EMTs who came to my home and took me by ambulance to the radiology staff. ..they all were concerned for my comfort and well being. Yes, I was at the ER for several hours. That's ER folks. They have to triage patients and while my broken leg was painful, it was not life threatening. I am ok with waiting because another human being has a more urgent issue than I do. I feel fortunate that I had the option to get an ambulance and get immediate care for my serious injury. Many people in this world do not have that option. I only have kind and thankful words for the staff at Salem Emergency

You have one nurse that very publicly says she doesn’t follow Covid guidelines, should we expect this from the rest of staff too? Ashley grimes put cancer patients and your staff at risk. She needs to be terminated immediately unless you stand by her actions.
