Melissa gave me my confidence back. I scheduled a consultation with her a year ago to discuss getting hair extensions after experiencing hair loss due to stress and health issues. She was so patient, kind, and informative about the entire process of getting the extensions, how they’re sourced, how she applies them, etc. no detail was left out and I felt very confident that she could help me restore some volume and length in my thinned our hair. HOT D*MN did she deliver!!! You will not find better, more natural results. My extensions looked like my own natural hair but 10x more glamorous. You can’t put a price on the confidence she gave back to me. She is so passionate about her craft and it reflects her work. I’m already on my second set of beautiful extensions and I still couldn’t be happier. My advice to anyone that plans on using Melissa for extensions is to ACTUALLY READ HER WEBSITE! She explains the extensions/services she does and what to expect (cost, maintenance, longevity of the hair, etc.) It is a lot of information because her craft is like no other, it is literally art, so there is a lot of information! Ever since I got my first set of extensions last April my natural hair has grown inches, I have so much new growth, and I get endless compliments on my hair and the confidence they gave me. I cannot recommend or brag about Melissa enough. She is extremely busy because she focuses 100% of her attention of her clients she has that day. She is never distracted or on her phone whenever she works on my hair. I’ve never had an experience like that! Scheduling may be a little tricky due to this, but she always ALWAYS gets back to me whenever she is done with her client. I would never trust anyone with my hair/ hair extension needs ever again.

I'm not certain how this business reached a rating of 4.6; its mind blowing to be honest. To say that this owner is hard to reach is an understatement of the year. It is topped only by her lack of decorum, patience, and inflated egotistical attitude. Unanswered calls, not returning calls, and on the off chance you do hear from her it is ill mannered and crass. News flash, the world doesn't revolve around you and despite how good your work is, it is overshadowed by your inability to provide effective customer service. The overarching theme here is rude and unprofessional, as is evident by the countless reviews which substantiate it. I highly recommend moving on and finding yourself a more ideal provider of these types of services.
I cannot express what a difference Melissa has made for my hair health, self-esteem, and confidence! After losing much of my hair in high school I was struggling with my thinning hair. Doctors could not find a reason for it and attributed it to stress, so I had no treatment plan and had to live with the fact that my hair would never be the same. I had a dream of having long & full hair again for my wedding. After researching options and not wanting to further damage my hair with clip in or tape on extensions, I found Melissa’s informative website. After going in for a consultation Melissa assured me that we could achieve the look I wanted, and that after the wedding I would still have long, thick hair for my honeymoon and some time afterwards. With proper care, I went on to wear my extensions for 6 months. With the extensions as a barrier, my real hair was not coming in to contact with as much heat or brushing as it had in the past. My hair had grown out so much underneath the extensions I could not help but get another set put in, this one lasting 6 months as well. A year later after removing the extensions my hair is as long as it was in high school before it starting falling out. Extensions of yourself is an investment that you will never regret doing for yourself. What drew me to ‘Extensions of Yourself’ were the reviews from her past clients that talked about how much of a difference she made in their lives after losing their hair to chemotherapy. She truly cares about each and every person she works with. Melissa makes you her #1 priority, offering TV, WiFi, coffee & snacks in a chic & private salon while she works her “hair magic!” I highly encourage anyone out there hoping to transform their hair and learn how to keep it healthy to book an appt with her. Absolutely hands down the very best hair extensions anyone could ever find! Melissa took such great care of me, gave me her full undivided attention, was so attentive and considerate of my wants and needs, and my extensions are gorgeous! She is truly an expert in her field and one of the most kind and caring people I've ever met. A true artist when it comes to hair! I've had so many compliments and feel so good about the way my hair looks now when before I didn't even want to go out in public because my hair was in such poor condition. Melissa gave me back my self confidence and I can't thank her enough! I will never trust anyone else with my hair ever again! She's one of a kind!
