Staff is super nice and informative. Took their time answering a million of my questions. Offered multiple services including free water testing. Great selection of products and livestock. I'm new to the hobby and took the time to visit multiple aquarium stores here in sa. This ones by far my favorite and will be my go to.

Hello, My name is Joshua Sprouse, I was in your store last Saturday (1/09/21). I had purchased some beautiful Von Rios, Oto's, and a Pleco. I also was given store credit for donating some black platies! My experience there was amazing! The customer service was superb! Evelyn was super helpful and friendly and I really appreciated her tenacity on getting my fish, answering all my questions, and giving me the store credit for all my platies I had! I would recommend this store to anyone. Such great healthy tanks there ,and the facility was super clean. All the tanks looked really good, and I would definitely go hear again. I am thinking of getting sime Cardinal Tetras and more Otocinculus, and Panda Corys. I cant't think of any place other than Salty Fish Aquariums for all my Aquatic needs. Please come here for all your Aquarium needs! Thank you again Salty Fish Aquariums!

Have been visiting these guys since starting my reef tank about 8 months ago. Super knowledgeable, very nice, lots of stock on accessories, fish, corals, freshwater, terrariums and on and on! Always down to earth and give great and realistic expectations for cleaning and maintaining my tank as well as great information on how easy/hard it will be to take care of all of the fish and plants they have in stock. Highly recommended giving them a shot for all your aquarium and terrarium needs!

I was pretty surprised how highly this shop was rated. I went in for salt water and had the man fill up my tanks and browsed the shop. As I looked around the front the two main display tanks looked wonderful. Some of the smaller tanks upfront looked hideous - red flag one. As I went to the back the saltwater livestock and coral were quite picked over and many of the tanks were in bad condition I should have known right then this was a bad idea. All of the fresh water livestock tanks were filthy and filled with dead or sad fish and only the display tanks looked in good condition. I made the mistake of not dumping the salt water I got and used it for a water change and now I'm battling an ammonia spike and high nitrate and nitrite. I checked the left over water I had in the jugs and they were high in nitrites. I'm sure this has something to do with covid but the state of these tanks and water is just beyond unacceptable. I have to be honest I wanted to leave a review as soon as I left. I will still be going to Austin Aqua Dome for my water from here on out - lesson learned. I will say the staff was nice but in no way makes up for the overall experience.

Knowledgeable staff helped me on my first venture with fish; from helping understand what type of fish get along, to properly taking care of vegetation. Everyone was quite friendly and passionate about fish, plus with such a large store there's quite the variety to suit your needs both fresh water and salt! If these guys don't have what you're looking for, good luck finding it!
