I want to thank Juan Ramirez, and Zachary Rucker from Dignity Memorial Mt. View Mortuary & Cemetery for my father's Services Jose Ramos Garcia for the excellent service they provided. We faced this situation during the pandemic and the viewing was limited to the number of people that could attend. However there were two courteous and polite gentlemen available to our needs at all times from the beginning to the end of the services. I would highly recommend it. Thank you for your continued respect for my grandparents' remains. I don't visit as often as I'd like, but when I do, I'm happy they chose you for their final resting place.
When my grandmother passed away we had a wonderful experience with Mt. View so it was not a question when my mom passed away that we would be using there services again. Unfortunately this experience was nothing like the first. I called jan 4th to retain services and recieved a call back on the 6th for verbal authorization to pick up my mom and was given an appointment on the 10th to come into the office with the impression my mom would be there. I recieved a call on the 9th stating they needed authorization to pick up my mom which I explained I had done already then was told because of the delay in getting that done it would push her pick up over a week. I went in for my appointment paid in full and was promised I would be kept updated. I called almost daily to get updates as to when my mom would be picked up. I was continuously given the excuse that covid was the reason for the delay. There manager who proceeded paperwork was out due to covid, the arrangers were out or in a meeting or with families. I had been told over and over no driver had been assigned I finally recieved an answer on jan 27th that she had infact been picked up on jan 21st. I had no communication NOTHING and yet had been told she was still not there when she was. I finally spoke with my arranger Yvonne,had it not been for her I would have taken my mom and my business elsewhere. My mom died 12-31 and is still waiting for cremation. Sadly today February 6th she is still waiting. My brothers her grandchildren and sister waiting for closure at the hands of a company that only has 1 person staffed to do 1 derail of all aspects of this process. Very disappointing.
I just want to thank you so much for making my sisters service so beautiful. Working with Ken, Derek and Pricilla was a blessing (can’t remember the nice receptionist name but her as well). You guys took your time to explain all options and packages, gave suggestions and also went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Your facility is very clean and felt so warm and cozy like home. Your pricing is affordable not to mention that you have payment options for those that need it. I was able to have the service outside under a large tent to accommodate my family and friends while being able to have social distancing due to Covid-19. I can’t leave out the Maza Liam option as to which my sister picked out before she passed. This area is beautiful. When you walk in it’s so peaceful giving me the comfort in staying there to visit with my sister. I wish that I can put 10 stars instead of 5.
The staff at Mt. View has been for our family very kind, caring, and respectful. great qualities for a Mortuary.
