I liked it better when it was a concert venue; the use to book the best bands and acts. It is still a pretty impressive spot to grab a cocktail and watch the sunset with friends. Go with a small group of friends, snag the table with a fire pit, sit back, relax, take in the view, and share in some laughs. I took a date here and with good conversation, time seemed to fly by (in a good way). Yes - the menu is a little pricey, but I bet their rent is as well, it's literally facing the Pacific Ocean. Remember to tip well! As a former bartender, it's important.

Had the calamari and 2 rolls. It's was very good and would come back. The table behind us liked what we had on the table and asked what we had. The plates looked wonderful.

Cannonball is an awesome place to eat! We had really great service from Josh. The sushi was soooo good! We had the Red Dragon, Yoshi, and En Fuego rolls. We also had the ceviche appetizer which was just as good! :)

This review is about the service. We were visiting from Nevada and after being seated by the hostess waited 10 minutes for our server to introduce himself and take our order. After leaving, I realized I had left my Ray Ban sunglasses at the table. When I went back to tell them, they said that no sunglasses were found. I understand that it was my fault to drink and have fun and was also limited on time, that I had forgotten to grab them but the staff could have been more honest. Furthermore we tipped them generously. Otherwise the food and drinks were good however a dishonest staff and management will not be earning my business in the future.

Exceeded expectations. My son got the burger, which was delicious - as well as his fries. My wife loved her shrimp tacos and my sushi rolls were terrific. We wanted to come for sunset as this is right on the water, but got too hungry and could not wait. The view is amazing. At dusk, it would be even better.
