I'm on the east coast, so I've not visited the store in person, but recently I purchased a pair of shoes from Gentlemen's Footwear online. I emailed them about availability in my size, and Steve responded very promptly. The ordering process went very smoothly. I placed an order on a Saturday, the shoes shipped on Monday, and arrived the following Friday. A complimentary pair of shoe trees was included with my order, which was fantastic. I'm completely satisfied with my transaction and the service I received. I would definitely shop here again.

Working with Steve has to be the most enjoyable shoe purchase experience I have ever had. I came to Steve to consider making my 11th quality shoe purchase (Both shoes and boots). I left with my 11th and ordered my 12th and 13th with a smile on my face. My sizing and feel for the different lasts took about 20 minutes. I stayed for an additional hour to speak with Steve about quality shoes, shoe care, clothing, winery excursions and beers. I am fortunate to live in San Diego close to his shop so I can purchase all of my future shoes through him.
