Patricia offers you authentic Argentinian food. Try her alfajores for desert. They are delicious

This place is a hole-in-wall kitchen with no real seating. You walk up to the door and make your order and wait outside. There are a total of 2 tables and 3 chairs. I was walking by and ate alone so this was okay. I've only had the Choripan and it was pretty tasty. The chimmichurri is one of the best I've had. The bread was just too big to eat. Since it was nice and toasted, it had a nice crunch but I couldn't get my mouth around it. I ripped off half the bread and enjoyed the meal! Empanadas looked great. Will try that next time I'm walking by. I don't think I would bring my friends here because of the seating situation, but would definitely buy it again if already pedestrianing Garnet.

The chorizo con pan and chimichurri was delish! Try yerba mate tea, it will give you energy, Patricia is very nice and prepares the food right away. They do Ubereats and are open till 230 am in Pacific Beach on weekends. Will come back again!

I honestly expected more from this joint but I guess I need to learn not to believe the hype. Tried what looks like the two main staples on the menu - empanada and Choripan sandwich. The empanada was slightly sour with no other detectable taste. It was mainly filled with large chucks of undercooked onion and not much else. As it is a baked (as opposed to fried) pastry, the shell lacks the crunchy deliciousness and is on the dry side. The sandwich is basically a hot dog and the only part of it that I liked was the sausage and I doubt they make that in house. Chimmichurri was made with pre-fab garlic and some kind of military-green pulp, looking and tasting nothing like fresh parsley and even less like oregano. Considering that it has about a quarter cup of oil in it I think one is better off having a couple of slices of pizza down the street for fewer calories and much more enjoyment.
