Great caring and I believe unlike VA, that has only 40% Vets staff, all of the staff here are Vets, no judgment, they care, help with processing, explain everything out. No cost to Veterans.

I was a walk-in and they were kind enough to get me in to see a counselor and get my intake done right there on the spot. The counselor that I met with was Stephen Salter a very well rounded individual and just made me feel like I was talking to someone that really understood and heard what I was telling him. Highly recommend this place to any fellow veteran out there in need of someone to talk to needs help.

San Diego Vet Center is a great place for veteran's counseling for PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) due to military related combat or a MST (Military Sexual Trauma) that occurred during service. There is no charge for services and they are fast to get you in, unlike the VA.

Swift Bakes

These people don't care about us. I begged them for counseling and they told me that Ive had enough counseling. How do you send a distressed veteran away, when he's begging you for help. I've never thought a place for veterans would treat me like this.
