One of the most beautiful places I've been to. The pictures can't do it justice. Also there is a peaceful energy here that is very condusive for meditation. The monks are very nice too. I don't think many of them speak much English, but they're genuine. Maybe just learn a little Lao if you want to say hi. Wasn't busy when I stopped by at a random time, so lots of room for social distance or taking a walk looking at the scenery and also very quiet for meditation.

Nice lovely peaceful place to visit. Good for community gatherings and helping. There's vfw or elks lodge in other places but here it's nice for elders to come pray and be peaceful and have like a potluck with monks who gives good teachings. If you are curious about buddhism and more of the religion I'm sure you can come to learn more from all the monks. Everyone is nice and friendly and some are just a comedian. Come during festival celebration and it's like being in a different country. Everyone that's interested is always welcome
