Mike really is a cat person and you can tell right away. Not only will he take care of the necessities for your little kitties but he will bond with them and look out for their comfort while you're away. Highly recommended! We first reached out to Mike about a year ago to watch our new kitty who was only about 7 months old at the time. My boyfriend and I both had cats growing up but this was our first one on our own and we were definitely nervous to have someone new come in and look after him, but after meeting Mike the first time we could tell our little guy would be in good hands. Mike will send you updates and photos every time he visits and you can tell he has an attention to detail that makes you feel confident your kitties are safe and comfortable. He is really easy to coordinate with and saved us a couple times when we were leaving for a weekend on short notice!

I moved to the Inner Sunset last year and needed a new cat sitter who would service this neighborhood. I was referred to Mike and feel so lucky to have found him. He was very thorough when meeting us, asking so many great questions to learn about my 2 cats, and I could tell how much he cared. I have now booked his cat sitting services for 4 different long weekends, and every time he sends me fantastic daily emails full of updates, great photos, and fun videos. I can tell how much my cats like him because they are being themselves in the photos he sends. And when I have returned from my weekends away, my cats are happy to see me, but they are relaxed and well-fed, and I can tell they have been well taken care of while I was away. Mike is super easy to schedule with via email, and super easy to coordinate payment with over Venmo. He is just wonderful, and I highly recommend you book him for your cat sitting needs!
Mike is one of the best cat sitters I have ever had! He is great with my cat, who usually dislikes strangers, but she somehow seems to like him. Mike is very accessible and easy to get in touch with, and he sends detailed email updates every day that you're gone. He's also really observant and knowledgeable about cats in particular and has a lot of great tips about which toys and play time activities my cat liked best while I was gone. I especially appreciate how thorough and professional Mike is. He thinks of and prepares for every possibility, making sure there are multiple key copies, an emergency contact, that you've made it home safely, etc. There's absolutely nothing left for me to worry about when I leave for my trip!
I traveled 1/2 way around the world and felt relaxed to know my cats were being taken care of by Sparkle Cat Sitting. I highly recommend them! I was sent pictures and updates everyday. I was informed on how they were doing, if they were eating well, and their behavior which helped me to feel secure they were in good hands and gave me the opportunity to enjoy my vacation more. When I returned home the litter boxes were freshly changed and no cat messes to be found. Sweet! Feeling such a sense of trust is priceless. It's not easy finding people to trust in your home and with your pets. I trust Sparkle cat Sitting and will use their services again.
Mike did an excellent job cat sitting for 11 days while my husband and I were out of town. Our cat Lucky warmed up to him right away during the orientation visit which put me at ease. Mike e-mails every day to report on the cat, and he always sends photos and sometimes videos. The photos and videos made me feel assured that Lucky was being taken care of. Not only did Mike take care of our Lucky's food, water, and litter situation, he also took out the trash and brought in Amazon packages for us. Prices are reasonable too. I would definitely recommend Sparkle Cat Sitters :)
