I came in to place a very large order for material for a pretty substantial DIY project. I wasn’t in the store for 2 minutes before Jeffrey asked how he can help. He spent the next hour and a half helping me find every bit of hardware, every nut, every bolt, every piece of lumber that I needed. He was able to answer all of my questions (and I had plenty). There was one dimension of lumber that they didn’t carry, so he special ordered it for me, and arranged everything for delivery. I truly felt as if I was the only customer in the store. This is not your big box store. These guys are true pros, they know their stuff, and the level of customer service I experienced is practically non-existent these days.

Our deck materials were delivered bright and early this morning by a very happy and professional gentleman named Rey. He helped move items around on the concrete pad so the lumber could be in the dry area and very carefully unloaded to protect our limited landscaping. It was a joy starting the morning with this delivery. It should also be noted that this order was placed in-store as there were several questions about materials and price. While names escape me, the staff was helpful and sincerely cared to make my experience a warm and personalized interaction. Everything ordered was lower in price except for two items and they took the time to competitively price match both. I couldn’t be happier with my experience here and will certainly be back. Thank you McCoy’s in San Marcos!!!
