So Epcor has taken over Johnson Utilities which might be good if they do what they say they are going to do. The only question is about the Customer Service Agents that are leftover from JRU that have been proven to be rude, disrespectful and inept. Are they going to be replaced? If not Epcor will be the same failure as the arrogant JRU management. We hope the best but fear the worst!

We are new to the community here. I read all thw reviews. But based off my initial experience here, i called the company direct to set up service over the phone for our new house we are purchasing. You would think you could call the company like every other company you would deal with in EVERY CITY USA to set up service and talk to a person and not do it online. I got a \customer\ service rep. I told her i needed to set up service. She rudley directed me to online set up, i asked..can i just set it up with you? I was also very polite with her. She said..well you could, or u can just do it online..and then i said..oh uh ok..and she hung up on me. I went online, was taking to long to navigate, so i called back..got another \customer service\ rep. Explained that online was a bit too long..could i please set it up with her..she was cold, rude, acted like it was an inconvenience for her to plug into her computer my turn on service acct info. I was still nice of course..trying to ask a few questions about service, etc. She didnt want to answer my questions and directed me to the website. Unbelievable. Alsmost regretting buying a house in the area serviced by johnson utilities. I guess all the awful reviews are true!!
Would give 0 stars if I could. Terrible water when we lived there. Just this week they sent me to collections for a bill for this month, but I moved out of state and sold the home 6 months ago!! My account wasn't closed when they told me it was! I had 3 calls with customer service and each person I spoke with left me more confused than the last about where my account stood. Don't buy a home where these guys service, it's worth the money to buy a house somewhere else.
Terrible company to deal with - extremely unprofessional and overpriced. If you are able to use a different service provider, PLEASE DO SO FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THINGS HOLY.
