This infamous Glenn family 1929 mansion doesn't exist anymore due to a new development for Mercedes Benz. The CW Vampire Diaries used this house for numerous scenes as the Salvatore House. The film industry finds places like this to shoot in to reduce duplication. The home was also used in Driving Miss Daisy. It's unfortunate the famous house to Sandy Springs Settlers was tore down. It was one of the most controversial developments in Atlanta. Many residents are still salty missing the English Style Tudor Manner. Not sure why it's still on Google maps as it's been a few years since they demolished it. Construction site now.
This was my Uncle's house. Fond memories here. Don't know why its being called Virk...its Glenridge Hall....i learned to drive stick shift on the long driveway. It will be missed.
