I read the reviews about being "overpriced" and "creepy". That wasn't my experience at all. The dude working was cool. He was a typical video game guy. I mean, it's not like he is working as a concierge at a hotel. He is exactly appropriate for his job. As far as prices, they were completely fair. I checked them online, and they are right where they should be. It's fun to just walk around this store. They have a console you can play on, or you can just soak up the nostalgia as you look at all the artifacts from your childhood. I highly recommend this store.

Really cool store! Has a major variety of old games, and is definitely the place to go if you're looking for them. Super nostalgic feeling walking in for sure.

Fantastic selection and great layout. Fair prices with no gouging on rarer titles. 100% go here for your games!

They've got so many retro games and consoles that they're pretty much a video game museum. However, their prices are much higher than the average game store and their customer service isn't\u200b anything to write home about. I recommend checking out their cool inventory and supporting them but you'll save a lot from buying online

They had some cool stuff but the prices are ridiculously high. Everything found there can be found at other stores at 1/2 the price.

Awesome selection and always friendly employees only giving a 4 star because they didn't have what I was looking for. Definitely feeling the nostalgia here!

I was was a bit put off by this place after reading many reviews, but I wanted to check the place out for myself (went to both the Sandy and SL locations) and they are right. The prices are ridiculous! Many old, loose (no case or box), used games where priced at a premium. Like double or triple what they are even selling for on ebay. It was so disappointing... I had found a couple games that I was looking for, but they were double the price of the ones I was looking for online. So much for supporting local business. On top of that, their return/exchange policy is kinda shady. They don't guarantee any of there consoles/games to work, but can exchange them -only- for store credit... within a week I think? (That is what the employee at the Sandy location told me, so correct me if i was misinformed) That's pretty bad considering they are selling a lot of used, very old consoles and games. It makes me think they don't test a lot of these items and just want to get them out the door at a high price. Also I like the old comic and game shops of my childhood, that where often cluttered and cozy... but this store is a mess. It's very disorganized. Like several different types of games, accessories, and consoles scattered all over the stores. Way confusing. Anyway. It's cool to look, but I def wouldn't by anything. You will have much better luck online, at cons, or try DVD Game Exchange (also local).

The games and consoles here are insanely overpriced. They don't test the products they sell and will not offer refunds for products that don't work. This store sells repro copies of popular games without letting shoppers know what they are buying. Employees are very knowledgeable about retro video games but have no idea how to run a business. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.
