Visited for the first time bc of the reviews, i did a take out order and it took 25 minutes on a slow afternoon, not bad considering fresh ingredients! the meats had great flavor, green salsa/guacamole salsa was bland. I got extra because I'm not a big fan of red salsas for an extra charge of 2 dollars, biggest mistake, any other place is free for extra salsa. Overall, meal was a bit pricey for what it was, portions were small. I live 8 minutes away and food arrived cold, maybe because all the Romaine used for the presentation underneath food, use foil/wax paper instead rather than useless Romaine.

I always used to order the Tlayuda at this restaurant and it has always been a pleasing experience, which made the situation tolerable because the cook is really nice and the cashier not so much. Yet this last time I ordered the cashier was super rude and the Tlayuda had barely any meat on it and they did not give us any salsas (Mexican food without salsas is an insult to the customer)! Please hire another cashier!

The food here is authentic oaxaqueño for sure. The food is done by experienced cooks who have done this for years. Make sure you order a good 20min in advance depending on the plate and time of day it can take up to 25min. They also have ingredients if you want to make your own mole. My personal favorite is the oaxaca chess ideal for quesadillas gives it extra melt and burns to crisp for those quesitacos.

The food we ordered was absolutely delicious and full of flavor. Good amount of food is served and making you want order more which we did. And for the price all worth it. The staff were great and had a very good vibe. Would without a doubt come back. People looking for Oaxaca food should definitely come check this place out. And make sure to bring your friends and family

The experience fulfilled some portion of my dream to return to Oaxaca. The service was awesome like in Mexico. I ordered the Plato flor de Oaxaca. The mole is real and the cecina is ethereal, but the little things like the roasted whole onion and jalopeno were what satisfied the nostalgia. The plato doesn't come with guacamole (probably just a typo), but I ordered separately and it was fresh.
