I came here looking for an ugly Christmas sweater to wear for a last minute virtual Christmas party. Upon entering, I was greeted so nicely by the security guard. I immediately meandered to the women's sweater section and there was this really cute Rudolph sweater that was far from ugly. SCORE! I also found a cute throw pillow that says \You're the Bee's Knees\ and it was 50% off so the pillow that looked completely new was 2. While I waiting to check out, a homeless man came in and bought a sweater. After his purchase, he walked towards the entrance, stopped, and put on his new sweater. The security guard complimented him saying that he made a smart purchase and that the sweater looks good on him. She saw him for him as another human being! You don't get that much care from a high end retail store to a paying customer most of the time. I think this shows the type of people Goodwill employs.

Great selection for a thrift store. They don't do returns anymore but you can exchange clothing for store credit within a week.

I like the store the only Goodwill I've been to that I don't give 5 stars cause of the cashier that was super rude(just one of them though) some blonde lady with glasses don't feel comfortable when asking her for help or anything, the rest of them always friendly to me and helpful, I like their DVD section here

Definitely prime location for for a Goodwill, sunny Santa Monica. in Southern California can't imagine what the rent is on Santa Monica and 6th Street. These guys do a really good job of keeping the place neat and nice, main problem is parking here there's no parking just street parking so you might get lucky and find a spot.

Well organized. High quality items found. But one has to spend time to look. This store has more clothes than furniture. Drop off donations on 6th Street South of Santa Monica Blvd. New hours now, post Covid.
