Cross it off the bucket list been there done that. Seems like a very cool please even though most of the stuff was still shut down due to covid unfortunately. I think it would be a lot of fun if the weather was warmer and the world was not so crazy. Nevertheless I enjoyed it cut a great sunset and was able to touch the Pacific Ocean For the 1st time.

There's history there......you can feel it. Even through the COVID infused air, and the closure of 20% of the stores there. It's peaceful, intriguing and beautiful. GreY for loves, kids, friends, and single adventure seekers too. It doesn't have to be a festival to be there. The everyday traffic is enough to make you want to visit again.

Always a great place to visit. The Ferris Wheel and rides are not in operation but most of the businesses are open. Several people fish off the Pier. It is a very safe environment. The Santa Monica Police have a substation there on the Pier. Several restaurants are there. For bike rentals you should rent before you get to the bike path. Rentals along the bike path are around 10 an hour. You can rent bikes for 16 a day at Santa Monica Public Bike Rental at 117 Broadway very near the Pier. For walking before you get to the Pier. There is a beautiful path along Ocean Ave. All in all you can't go wrong near and at The Pier in Santa Monica.

Its fun, I guess I am spoiled by the Santa Cruz Boardwalk and so it is hard to compare. I think if the rides were open it would have been a different experience. The City of Santa Monica reminds me of a smaller version of Long Beach. It was a nice day, a great just walking around. People were wearing masks. The beach is big and beautiful and the Promenade Mall was great. Park at the pier parking lot for a 10 00 flat rate or on one of the many public parking garages. We had a great time.
