Ongoing Frustration with slow progress on dealing with Santa Monica planning. Let's wait for final review after the work is done.

Absolutely the worst operation...hostile and non-communicative. Actually they make it near impossible to pay a bill. Independently I used my debit card and paid the bill online via another portal. But this crew needs to be removed...3rd world operation at best. They could not be any less helpful. ML

Must be nice operating a monopoly. Turned off my power in Santa Monica today, sending no bill or shut off letter to my actual home service address and leaving no voice mail messages. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize. They claim their power disconnect computer calling system cannot leave voice messages. This is a first, all the little guys and Santa Monica schools have this feature, but NOT Edison when they are calling to shut off your home power. Edison company slogan, \Unbelievably disconnected from their customers\.

Terrible customer service, payment system makes complications making it difficult to pay, requesting additional deposits; re-approval for discounted service takes months. Unfortunately, this is the only electric service in Santa Monica.

They are quite simply the worst socially responsible company in the USA. Taxing folks for having solar panels, when are they going to tax the air we breath? While my actions help them avoid brownouts they tax the sunshine my house receives. Monopolies like theirs should be outlawed.
