With secure Roll-on/Roll-off facilities in Savannah and Brunswick, the Georgia Ports Authority is the second busiest in the nation for total Ro/Ro trade. In Savannah, Ocean Terminal handles Ro/Ro, breakbulk and project cargo. The terminal features five deepwater berths served by a variety of carriers. As a dedicated RoRo facility without container competition, the Colonel’s Island Terminal in Brunswick features three on-terminal auto processors, including International Auto Processing, Mercedes-Benz USA, and Wallenius Wilhelmsen Solutions. The Port of Brunswick offers three modern Ro/Ro berths, served by nine steamship lines. Current annual capacity is more than 900,000 vehicles. Full build-out will provide 150,000 spaces for automobile processing, for an annual capacity of 1.5 million vehicles.

221 N Lathrop Ave, Savannah, GA 31415 This is the closest company to the port. If you follow the address to the Ocean terminal you will end up going in circles. It takes you to the bridge that passes over the port. Use this address but pass this location going down E Latharop towards River st. You will see a little sign that says Ocean port with an arrow pointing to their gate. That road the ocean port is on is River street. Hopefully this helps. There's a lot of low clearances (13'3) surrounding this port so be cautious!!!

No TWIC card. Expect to pay escort 158/hr. Escorts outside gate waiting in their cars. One driver only allowed in through gate. Escort will ride in your truck with you until your business here is completed. They will hop out upon returning to the gate. We are a liveload. I am driver #2 (wife). I am the one that had to leave the truck and wait outside at the gate. It is currently 38 degrees. Liveload will take approximate 2 hours. Not very happy right now. I'm Pretty cold. Was not prepared to have to leave the truck. I have on yoga pants! I had 2 minute warning. Glad I wasn't in the berth! This trip to the port will end up costing me close to 600. Word to the wise. No TWIC card? Don't accept loads to any ports unless you have lots of ! our company didn't provide me with any of the above information. First time here and last time, as well. Lesson learned. Just FYI to other drivers. Always read the reviews before going to your final or PU.

easy, but needs to include data for cars and trucks like speed, direction, weigh stations, low clearances, weight zoned bridges, state boundaries, and rest areas. When you do that, I'll give you 5 stars.
