My elderly father asked me coordinate a property tax grieving for his home. I contacted O’Donnell. My father forgot that he had already done this earlier the same year and received a reduction. I called O’Donnell to explain this. They wouldn’t help us out and instead charged us what the other tax consultant saved. Wow. Was it our mistake? I suppose, but that’s still poor form and I will not be using or recommending their services. It’s not as if they sent out an actual inspector to survey our property and do a full property assessment. They just pulled up some comps on the computer and went to try to grieve, but found that we had one done too recently.
