We came back. Take out only because it wasn't opened yet. Fabulous food. We had Brisket & a shrimp poor boy it was OUTSTANDING! The baked beans are awesome. The jalapeños grits was yummy. If you are anywhere near this place come here to eat. What an awesome place!!! We'll be back.

I went in for a quick dinner tonight (2/5/21) at 7:50 pm and immediately felt like a second class citizen. They only offered me a seat a the bar or a table that sat 10 (with social distancing) because I was a single. There were plenty of open tables and booths in the bar area but after some observation they were setting parties with 2 or 4. Food was okay probably would have felt it was better but the treatment was a factor.

Excellent atmosphere- Clean, fresh and mellow. Food was awesome. We came as a family with young kids and had no issues. Establishment was conversely appropriate for adults only. Not a cheap date kind of place-worth the moderate price.

The atmosphere was fine & the staff quite friendly but the bar was mediocre & the food is not southern cooking by any stretch of the word unless you counted the very few items that could be considered as such. I had the rotisserie chicken walnut sandwich. Uhm...no, it was peppered so much it burned my mouth and my husband's salad didn't sit well. The rotisserie chicken was deemed very good by my granddaughter but the beans that were served as side dishes weren't eaten by anyone.. Clean, clean restrooms as well as a friendly & courteous wait staff. Too bad the food wasn't as nice as they.
