This is the perfect adventure vacation for these crazy times. We took 'Gretel' across Oregon and WA for ten days. It was the best! You get points for looking cool too. Do it!

My family and I had the most magical vacation thanks to Black Forest Westfalias! They truly think of everything and provide a fully stocked set up that makes for a great experience. Having a walk through of all the special features was super helpful and even included a bag of Stumptown coffee. Cannot wait to do this again!

Incredible experience with Goldie( the westfalia). She made such incredible memories for us. Mike was great to work with, very easy transition from airport to getting on the road with vehicle. The vehicle was easy to use, self sufficient and we had no issues. Traveled from Seattle all over Mt. Olympic down to Cannon Beach, Cascade Locks and up Mt Rainer. Heaven on earth in Goldie. My husband and I with two teenage daughters loved every minute of this vehicle. Highly recommend renting from Mike and Black Forest. Goldie has everything you need to make lasting memories.

Our trip, with Black Forest Westfalias, was awesome. The process was easy and Mike is great. Love that he has chosen to share his classic vans with the public. We got to experience \Goldie\ with a just installed upgraded engine and it performed flawlessly, up and down numerous mountain passes through British Columbia and the Cascades. Mike truly cares about his vans and it shows. These vans are not for everyone. They are over 30 years old and need to be treated with patience and extra care. You need to have the mindset to \want to\ pull over frequently, to let just about everyone else pass you. You can't be in a rush. They are meant to be driven around 45 mph, barefoot, with the windows down and the music up. While fun to drive, the van shines when parked. It is the perfect camp. Already imagining (planning) our next trip.

We had a wonderful time cruising the Olympic peninsula and Olympic National Park in Gretel. Mike was a perfect host for our adventure, full of local knowledge of where to go, what to see and campgrounds to stay at. After a thorough introduction to Gretel, we were off. Gretel was a great nostalgic ride. I don't know who was more relaxed, us or Gretel. Thanks again Mike for your help with our wonderful little adventure, Craig & Tori
