Great system, however, if the city of Seattle really wanted to make the bus system more desirable to use, they would supply small amounts of heat in their bus waiting areas or at the very least do a better job at insulating their pickup locations. A family of 4 would rather use their car than to freeze to death waiting 35 minutes. Times have changed and it’s their social responsibility to accommodate their patrons, I would honestly pay 15 to 25 cents more to use a bus system where there is some type of protection from the elements. Solar roofs with batteries that warm a radiator could be a more sustainable way to help people make the switch from their cars to buses. Let’s get creative!
