My husband and I are starting our first little farm and we are so in love with our new chicks from Alchemist Farm! We started out with four and then two weeks later decided we wanted more! Now we have a total of 9 1 chickens at The Nine Farm! Thank you Alchemist Farms for helping us with our first and second order of chicks. Ordering was easy and delivery was fast! I highly recommend Alchemist Farms! Last winter I ordered chicks for spring, and I received them—all healthy and safe—as scheduled in April. I’m a first-time chicken owner, and Franchesca has been super helpful throughout this process—from choosing breeds to caring for them as chicks, and beyond. It was important to me that Alchemist Farms is a humane hatchery, and their approach to chickens and the environment makes sense to me, so it’s been great to support them and spread the word. Alchemist Farm!!! We purchased 4 chicks here and couldn’t be happier with the service, education and our healthy happy little chickies. If you are looking for humanely produced chicks, from momma’s who are clearly well cared for(you should see them roaming the yard) this is the place for you.
Franchesca was very responsive throughout the whole process and readily available to answer all my questions. I love their variety of rare and interesting breeds as well as their commitment to humane practices. I purchased 3 moss egger chicks & Franchesca included an extra which was very nice. They were shipped to us from Cali all the way to S. Florida & arrived alive, but two were weakened by the journey. Sadly, those two ultimately passed away the following day. Thankfully, the remaining two are healthy & strong as can be. When working with live animals, especially during these times, sometimes things don't always work out as expected & that's ok. It's all part of the journey. Good thing the extra chick was included because we have two to raise and love. I have heard only wonderful things about Alchemist Farm & am glad I went with them. I recommend & will order from them again in the future.

Alchemist farm is regal. Period. I've raised birds as a kid and these have been by far the healthiest chicks I've ever encountered. I only ordered 4 Belfielder gals this past May with an August expected delivery date and I almost considered ordering elsewhere due to my impatience, however I'm so glad we waited for our girls! They are well worth the wait!. All 4 arrived here alive and thriving and not to mention the careful/strategic packaging they arrived in. Destination: (Northern to Southern CA). The breed so far has lived up to their gentle docile sweet selfs. We love them! Our Great Danes love them too and the chicks have a blast playing with them! Just wanted to share how much we have enjoyed our Alchemist Farm chickens! We ended up with the perfect set, all females except for one rooster, who we named Phoenix bc of his gorgeous smoke and fire colored plumage. Everyone who sees our eggs can’t help but comment on the rainbow of colors. They have all been healthy and sweet tempered since we brought them home. And Phoenix does a great job taking care of his ladies - he has a special cluck to call them all over when he finds special treats like dinner scraps, letting them all eat before he enjoys some. We will be sure to keep sharing the word about Alchemist Farm to everyone looking for great chickens!
