The name is perfect for this place. While there, you would feel nothing but serenity. The place is impeccably clean, the staff delightfully friendly and courteous, the services are topnotch. I am definitely coming back.

Paul is hands down the most talented hair stylist in Washington, DC. Excellent skill and integrity with a wonderful relaxed style. He is always informed about current best practices and has consistently offered impeccable guidance. Absolutely the best. PLEASE NOTE: Paul has moved to Salon Izze in Georgetown. Well worth the drive.
i don't go here anymore, nor will i return. Serenity had been my go-to place for hair, nails, and waxing. first my waxing tech, whom i adored, left. i was convinced to try someone else. she burned half my face. red, hot, painful. the manager was duly horrified. next to go was nails. my wonderful manicurist retired; i can understand that. the next two were fine ... until Serenity decided not to offer manicures any longer. the final straw was hair. (no pun intended. ) great haircuts for years. decided i was bored with my color and wanted something less mainstream - dark blue. do you know what the manager told me? despite the fact that i had purchased the dye myself, as instructed, i was denied an appointment because, "we can't have people walking out of our salon looking like that". okey dokey then. you don't want my business, no problem. you won't be getting it. the three stars were one for each service provider, zero for management.
Total waste of time attempting to get a massage at Serenity Day Spa. Tried to set it up on line but never received an answer back from my request. Called them and made an appt. Had to give a credit card number to make the appt and then when I showed up they had told me no one was available for a massage. Somehow they had made me an appt for a facial. I don't like facials and have never had one in DC. Totally incompetent front desk. Doesn't bode well for the massage therapists but I'll never know. Don't plan to waste my time with them again.
