This was my first time fishing for snook and tarpon. I often needed help learning how to cast and when i asked Ren for some help he often said \let me show you how to do it\. I caught several fish and had an awesome time.

Fished with Ren on November 16th. He kept us busy with snook, trout, redfish and an occasional ladyfish. We managed to see numerous tarpon but never had a good chance at one. Ren was one of the best guides I have had throughout my fishing adventures. Fishing the Everglades is a beautiful experience but Ren made the trip even better. Super cool dude and totally worth my pesos! Ready to go again soon.
Ren worked hard to find fish during some challenging weather conditions. We had lively conversation with lots of laughs. He had many locations with fish and put us on many Tarpon and Snook. He was very helpful instructing my 17 year old son to cast and fish more efficiently. We’ll be back to fish with Ren!
We had an amazing experience with Ren. It seems like he knows the Everglades better than the back of his own hand! We caught so many fish including snook, mangrove snapper, jack fish, trout, ladyfish and catfish. I would highly recommend this guide to anyone looking to go fishing in the Everglades.
Ren is a truly spectacular guide. I’ve done a lot of fishing and had a lot of guides but Ren has been one of the best. He makes great conversation and always has something interesting to say about the local wildlife. If you’re looking for a guide, don’t hesitate to book with Ren!
