This was my first time here and I had a great time! The staff were friendly and attentive, the food was excellent! Lots of choices for wine, beer and soft drinks. The decor was interesting, a mix of exposed brick and now leds near the ticket counter. The highlight was definitely the play itself. The actors were excellent! Really pulled you into the story! I had a wonderful time. Highly recommend it!

This hidden treasure, located just a few yards from the Fox Theatre, provides entertainment that is no less fabulous, and food and drink that rivals many of the restaurants nearby. A company of players provide enthusiastic, well directed, and effectively told stories from the Bard. The menu, while somewhat limited, offers tasty options including shepherd's pie, sandwiches and soups, salads, and desserts. The tavern has a good selection of adult beverages, both in the lobby and in the theatre itself. The theatre itself is a gem, with no bad seat in the house. The staff is friendly, efficient, and very appreciative. We've been many times, and always look forward to our next visit and performance.

Excellent show! Saw Much Ado About Nothing and even though I understood only half of what was said, I never felt lost because of the actors body language, facial expressions, and way they said things (my son called all this \blocking\). The show was hilarious and the actors fabulous! Food was good and reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

We had such a great night watching \Anne of a thousand nights\. I would highly recommend seeing a play at this quaint theater in the old Shakespearean style. A really great night out. Very talented actors. All the Staff were super friendly and made the night a great one!

I saw Hamlet while visiting Atlanta, and it was a very professional production put on by individuals who know their Shakespeare. The venue is fairly small, but it makes the whole experience intimate, and the actors are able to move throughout the audience. I ate before arriving, only to discover that I could have eaten at the Playhouse itself, for they have a kitchen in the back that serves dinner starting 1 hour and 15 minutes before curtain! They also have alcoholic drinks available, and dessert is an option during intermission. I wish I had known that before my trip, but now I know for next time!
