They really dedicate time and effort to a well rounded experience. Both of my children have shown improvements in all aspects of their lives in a few short weeks of attending. Even my child on the spectrum has made fantastic strides. They spend the time learning proper technique and supporting parents at home. One of the best experiences for both my girls.

I wanted my son to start being more active and work out. I was doing my own research and found about ohdokwan. I chose it because it was close by, and the price was right and very reasonable. And when I went in the first day, the teachers were nice, very structured and it was great. My son is learning. He's picking it up very well. He's become very more confident and more go to now. He's only been in there for about twould years now and so his confidence level is built up, and his energy level has climbed up. I like the fact that they're very engaging with the students. They keep the students wanting to learn more. It's a good school. I would definitely recommend them to a friend. It's a great experience!

It is nearly impossible to put into words the caliber of character and instruction at Oh Do Kwan martial arts. Master Joaquin Bonilla exhibits an unquestionable knowledge of taekwondo, as well as many other forms of martial arts. Equally important, if not more, is his instinctual connection with his students of all ages. He is a firm task master, yet intuitively understands each student's personal limits. No reward or belt is given without truly being earned; no parent can buy his child's way up to a black belt. Master Joaquin respects his students; in return, he is highly respected by his students and their families. Respect and courtesy are key components of martial arts instruction, especially at Oh Do Kwan. Learning to \fight\ is not the goal here. Confidence, discipline, kindness, and respect are equally as important. I have had two children under his instruction over the past decade or so at different times and ages. I have never been disappointed, never been left questioning his decisions, and have always been respected in return. If you're still reading this review, I implore you to visit or call Oh Do Kwan for martial arts instruction. You will not be disappointed.
