This was our first time going to Gallrein Farms. We've been to a few different pumpkin patches/farms, and so far this is my favorite. We went to Huber's in Indiana last year, but it's too crowded, expensive and there really isn't anything special about it. Gallrein was not too crowded and offered a few simple but unique activities for the kids (see pictures). Unfortunately, you need to buy tickets to participate in some of the activities. For food, they had two foods trucks which were ok and a small inside cafe. I'd always recommend bringing your own lunches to these. The pumpkin patch was just as you'd expect. With a fun 10 min hay ride to get to it. When you get back from the patch, they provide wheel barrels for you to transport your pumpkins. Both kids and adults had a blast on this beautiful farm. Everything from the hay ride to the patch, to all the fun activities. Pictures are worth 1000 words. Check them out.

Gallrein is the perfect place to spend your day. There is a corn maze, a haunted house and a pumpkin patch. There are many fun activities that people of all ages can enjoy.

Not a full range produce store, but such as they have is plentiful and very good in its season. The tomatoes are large, and fairly uniform in shape and size given their excellent tomato taste and texture, never cellular, always soft and more on the juicy side than firm and dry in the cut like store tomatoes. These are genuine orangeish red in color, not those pink looking fake tomatoes that disappoint in taste and texture. Their high quality butter and cream type corn is very fresh in comparison with supermarket corn that typically has some drying around the tops of the husks. Their small, dark almost round watermelon is terrific. Not grainy or cellular in texture. Of course there is a selection of other fruits, vegetables, jams, jellies and pickles. There is a lunch counter we haven't tried, but the menu board lists many sandwiches. There are a few tables in front of the serving counter. All in all a fun, pleasant experience getting truly fresh, tasty produce. The parking lot is paved and convenient.

What a great place to spend the day. We took a hay ride to the patch. The grandkids had a great time picking just the right pumpkins. We picked up some yummy salsa, pickled things and some jam. Well maintained grounds and friendly staff.

What a wonderful place for family fun. This was our first time here. The staff was friendly. They have sanitizer throughout the area. My family will absolutely be returning.
