My boyfriend and I went to Silver Spur and Bit Farm at the end of August while on vacation. It was such a fun, laid back experience that we will never forget! Jay led us to and from the trail taking pictures of us on the horses and texted them to me later. Jason and Ethan came out with us on the trail and were great guides. It was my boyfriend‘s first time riding and he was on a slower horse so Ethan stayed back with him to help him out and make sure he was comfortable. Afterwards, they welcomed us to stay for a homemade lunch of pork, rice and beans which was delicious! The horses were well behaved and seemed well taken care of. It was well worth the price. I would highly recommend to anyone!

I've known the owners of this farm for many years. Having run a boarding/breeding operation myself for over 20 years, I know how much work it takes to run a farm of this magnitude. Dan bends over backwards to accommodate boarders needs, and he takes great care of the horses. From foals to senior citizens, he'll do his best to keep them healthy and happy! I couldn't be more pleased to have my horse so close to home; and I know she'll be well taken care of when I travel. I must also mention what a great group of fellow boarders at the farm - NO DRAMA and just a lovely group!!!

We had an amazing time. Our guide was friendly and informative. Personality and sense of humor were great. The trail was diverse riding through a creek, up small hills and through the woods, where we saw plenty of wildlife. The horses were obedient and easy to ride. As being a first time rider I was very relaxed and not worried.

Really nice working stuff and whole area. Horses are pretty but a lit bit too stubborn\\tired . the best time to ride not after rain! some horses afraid of paddles and want go back home.will come back again for sure
