I have been attending the Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Silver Spring for 3 years and am having an amazing experience. The combination of lessons, group classes, and parties is a wonderful way to learn and practice new dance patterns and then enjoy the fruits of your labor. The teachers break information down into manageable bits and then encourage and lead as you grow in your skill. They couldn't be nicer, and the other students are friendly and kind as well. It's a great place to meet new people, learn a valuable skill, and enjoy the pleasure of moving to music. The studio immediately went virtual during the initial stages of the pandemic, so we didn't miss a beat, and they have taken all the necessary steps to safely re-open in careful stages. Join us--it's so much fun!

Arthur Murray Silver Spring is such a wonderful place to learn and have fun. Every instructor there is professional, encouraging, and kind. I studied here for 10 weeks over the summer, and I've become a much better dancer by participating in both private lessons, group lessons, and parties. This place is not only a dance studio, but also a heartwarming community, where you can receive and give so much love :) A special shout-out to Taylor and Ivanna for their patience with me in private lessons!

I came to this studio not knowing anything about how to dance. The staff was warm and encouraging and I have learned from them. I especially appreciate that they offered video lessons during the COVID shutdown. Recently they resumed in-studio lessons for those who want them. I highly recommend this studio to learn or improve your dancing skills.

I found a Groupon for Arthur Murray and it was an awesome deal! My (now) husband and I took a couple of private dance lessons a week out from our wedding. We worked with Sydney and she was amazing at teaching us a few steps for our first dance and making us feel a lot more comfortable about it. The classes were also a lot of fun and everyone who works there is extremely friendly and welcoming; I definitely plan on going back again some time! Thank you guys for your help!
