I have been RVing here for about a year now, and I have my kids there regularly with no issues, other than some road noise (I am closest to the road, but it's not that bad) the park is quite, the spots are a nice size ( I can fit my fifth wheel in the spot with my truck parked in front of it, and not be blocking the road and still have plenty of room to walk between the truck and trailer king pin, and the trailer comes in at 42 ft from the rear bumper to the hitch, with about 6 ft behind my camper to the fence) the staff is always friendly and the people we see and talk to when walking around the park are always nice, the view of the lake is amazing no matter the time of day, but sunset seems to be the best time I think. Personally I don't plan on leaving until they tell me I have to. And if you read a post about an admission fee, it's not for here, it's for the Mill Dam state park that has a public swim area with restrooms/changing area, picnic tables, grills, and a boat ramp, but that is NOT part of this, just on the same lake.

Great resort the houses/cabins whatever you want to call them are great. Right on the water, great views staff is super friendly. I saw some previous comments and from my experience this park and staff are amazing. 10/10 sadly I can only give 5/5
Very quaint. Inviting and welcoming atmosphere. Quiet little personal trailers. Great place to stay for the night or the month. Milldam lake is an awesome calm lake to canoe or kayak. Outdoor grills at each trailer. Beautiful place to watch the sun rise or set. Alice's Dam Place Bar and Grill located at the entrance. Perfect place to eat and have a drink before walking back to your bed for the night. I recommend anyone going through the Ocala forest to stop for the night and appreciate the little slice of heaven they've created.
Whole \RESORT\ is old, dirty and poorly cared for. Many mobile home are run down. The smoke is so thick in the bar we couldnt stay. The resort boasts a restaurant on site but there was no restaurant. You can get a frozen burger or pot pie and warm it in the microwave. The site on the lake is great and the cabin was clean.
My absolute favorite summer spot. I seen Mama bear and baby cub playing in the road on my way in. Too mesmerized to look away to get camera. Beautiful!
